What happened after the session of prayer in the garden?
Was Judas' kiss an unusual gesture?
Who would have comprised the multitude?

Who wielded the sword? Who was struck by the sword?
What did the disciples do when they saw that the Lord was not going to defend Himself?
Was Judas a trusted follower of Jesus? Was Judas a true follower of Jesus?
ANSWERS
Judas arrived with an armed multitude, and he kissed the Lord on the cheek.
No. This was a common gesture of affection that a disciple would give to his Rabbi.
The Jewish temple guards and some Roman soldiers (John 18), as well as some members of the Sanhedrin (Luke 22).
The ruling body, or the Jewish "senate." Members would be the chief priests, scribes and elders.

Zealousness can be a good thing, but not always. Can you recall a time that your zeal got you into trouble?
Are there times when you have been like Judas, betraying Christ?
CHALLENGE
Once a failure, always a failure does not have to be true. Can you recall a time when you failed the Lord? Was it permanent? How can you be true to your Lord
